Looking for a Windows 95-98 3D game where you were in a pod?

I forgot the name of it, but I remember that it was a 3D game where you were in some pod (or spaceship, i forgot) and you could change the scenery to medieval, ocean, space, and then something else. And in these places, you could add animated characters, trees, music, etc. depending on the location. I'm not sure if I've given enough of a description for people to recognize the game. I wish I had remember what it was called. All I know was that I played it when I was like 7-10 in that range. Can anyone help me?
