How to deal with an overwhelming friend?

Ive had a friend like this. I told her that even though i liked her enthusiasm for my party that i really just needed to plan it all by myself, and take it step by step. Let her know you like a calm, open environment to work it out and that she is making it hard for you to spend time on work, husband ect while she constantly wants to know about the wedding.
