Why are so many Cubans anti-Castro, anti-Communist, etc. when many of the older exiles supported dictatorship?

Because they learn over time. Through a lack of experience, the now older generation turned to an alternative, feeling that anything must be better. They were wrong; they learn their lesson over time.
