What's the best college degree to get ?

I'm going to college soon and while I'm there I'll be working on my AA degree in art. The main reason being that I've got a scholarship to this college. While I'm there I want to work on getting scholarships to an out of state college that I really want to go to. This is my main question and problem : I want to get a bachelors degree in art, could I transfer my AA degree over to that college and work on getting my BD ? I know bachelors is 4 years but could I add 2 years from the out of state college onto my AA and get my BD ? ( like 2+2=4) or would I have to start over and do 4 years at the out of state college to get my BD from there? Would it be a good idea to a BD ? I'm not 100% what it does, same as AA. No one really told me... :( Please elaborate as much as possible. Because each college is different about many things these are the colleges I'm talking about. Polk State College (Florida) is the one I'm going to and have the scholarship for , and Appalachian State University(North Carolina) is the one I want to go to in the future after PSC.
