Why do people always avoid the truth when making judgments about Hugo Chavez leadership in Venezuela?

Distractions, Distractions...Why are we so obessed with affairs outside our country? When our own politicians are the ones we should be watching. Hugo Chavez is Venezuela's problem and I could give a BLANK. I think we should stop being busy bodies and care exclusively for our own people and our behavior of our government.
