Should I end my friendship with this girl?

Im 17 and ive known this girl for a year now (also 17) and we have hungout less than 10 times since we met. We have talked pretty much every day since we met and we have become really close. She tells me things that she doesnt tell her other friends. I used to like her and i told her and she didnt feel the same way but it didnt affect our friendship. Before summer started she said that we were going to hangout a lot but so far that hasnt happened and i have asked her to hangout almost everyday. She usually says that the kid whos house she is going to cant have anymore people over and then she texts me when she gets home and tells me about what heppened there which annoys me. I have told her that i dont understand why we never hangout and she apologized and said she is really busy lately. Its not like i want to hangout with her by ourself i just want to hangout in a group of friends and im friends with the kids she hangs out with all the time. Im getting sick of our friendship only existing via phone and im wondering if i should just stop talking to her all together
