New Star Trek movie: Awesome? ist? Both? Neither?

negative i think it destroys the rest of the trek movie franchise and there are a few inconsistencies for example kirk just started his career and chekov is there but in the tv show chekov didn't show up until season 2 the enterprise looks way more advanced than the one from the 60s yet in the story line it's set before the tv show picks up so that dosent make much sense and if it is indeed set in 2023 like you said and the ship has warp drive that dosen't make sense cause warp drive didn't come along till 2063
