Is this slander or not?

I got in a car wreck this weekend while yes I forgot my ID since i don't every not do i every plan on getting pulled over and i was simply going to a call of duty tournament. i showed no sign that i was lying about my ID... my name is Cory fry and that what i told the cops.. they claimed that Cory fry (me) has 2 felony warrants from out of state.. Which i don't and i know that my record has nothing on it since i just recently had my background check done for a government security position just 4 months ago and the last time i left state was over 1 year ago.. They then said that cory fry has 3 tattoos which i don't said im lying at handcuffed me. No i know that i don't have felonies and maybe they did just make it all up cause that thought i was lying about being who i am the the fact is they told my newly found girlfriend her parents, my friend, and his mother and her friends that i have two felony warrants from out of state. now lying to me in order to get something out of me is one thing but telling my girlfriend her parents and other people that im a felony and that im lying about really being cory fry (taking a false ID) is another. now everyone in my small town thinks am a felony hiding something especially since the wouldn't say what the made of felonies were for which could be anything from DUI's to and murder... is this not Slander.. i believe it is and am questioning wither or not i have a case.
