Im trying to hook a webcam up to my laptop & its saying the program is blocked b/c its not compatible?

This is a logitech webcam that i just bought. This computer is also brand new too. Im trying to hook it up, but when i click on the disk its saying the program is blocked because its not compatible with microsoft windows. Ok im computer illiterate, i just started using one last year, So can somebody tell me what to do or should i return the camera and get another one? And by the way i do not have a mac if someone was going ask. TIA
